Noble County Board of Health
The Noble County Board of Health is the governing body of the Health
Department. They are elected by the county Advisory Council
which consists of the president of each township’s trustee board,
the mayor of each village, and the president of the board of county
commissioners. There are five Board of Health members whose terms
are for five year increments, so each year the Advisory Council
meets to elect a Board member. One member is required to be a
physician, and members can serve consecutive terms.
Pictured above are the current members of the Board of Health, with
the exception of second from left, Charles Stewart. Charlie
passed away recently, and we would like to remember him for his many
years of service to our Health Department and community. 2008
