WIC
Women, Infants, and Children
- WIC is a Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for
Women (pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding), Infants,
and Children up to five years old
- Screens for nutritional problems: provides
nutrition education, provides supplemental foods such as
milk, cheese, eggs, juice, cereals fortified with iron,
peanut butter, dry beans/or peas
- Infants that are not breastfed will receive formulas
with iron, infant or regular juice, infant cereal with iron,
and special formulas
- Offer breast feeding moms support and additional food
supplements
- Offer manual and electric breast pumps to eligible
breastfeeding mothers
- WIC certifications, re-certifications and coupon
pick-ups are by appointment only (special arrangements may
be made for new-borns)
- Coupon pick-ups are scheduled each Wednesday morning
- Initial certifications and re-certifications are scheduled

Wednesday-Friday 8:00 – 11:30 AM
&
1:00 – 3:30 PM
WIC is based on the household family gross income.
Income includes child support, OWF, (Ohio Works First),
Disability and SSI
